Fun with minky...

Minky backing is soft and cuddly to use for baby blankets and even for lap quilts.  Here are a couple I quilted for a friend.  If it weren't so hot!!!!!  I would cuddle up in one :)

Crazy about Handbags.....

My latest and one of my favorites may be a bag made of scraps.  I was playing with the snip it tool on my computer and started with some turtles.  Then my Brother Scan and Cut came into play and before I knew it I had blocks and could not resist throwing the pieces on the longarm and doing some quilting and turning the pieces into a bag.  A very large bag with pockets on the inside to hold a tablet, cords, phone etc.  No pattern, just a bit of creativity and fun learning how the Scan and Cut works.

Caiden's Blanket

Fun weekend in Honolulu! We were fortunate to spend the weekend with our niece and husband and met our new grandnephew, Caiden. Delivered his blanket for tummy time.
