Batik Briefcase

Bali Batik Briefcase.........

Forty Bali Pops, 150 ft of clothsline, a lot of straight stitching to make 40 covered cords, zig zag stitching to connect them and hand sewing to complete the bag. There are two pockets on the inside to keep me organized.  It measures 16 x 14 x 4.   I can tote a whole lot of goodies around in this one!

I did not read this pattern before I purchased it.  I saw a sample in a quilt shop and loved it.  I may not have purchased it if I would have noticed the hand sewing involved, but it is well worth it, just time consuming.  It gave me a break between quilts and the colors are so pretty.

You can't wear a quilt around town, but you can always use a tote!

And more Batik Quilts......

It's Good to be a Square

It's Good to be a Square........

Batiks are fun to work with.  The colors blend nicely together.  And I'm really pleased with the way this one quilted up.

Want to see a few baby quilts that I've made over time......
